Evaluation
We are recognised as a leading provider of independent evaluations of schemes funded by the public purse. We use a wide range of tools and techniques to complete rigorous evaluations including:

Logic models
We create logic models and theory of change models that articulate the rationale for individual schemes and track how inputs will support activities that lead to outputs, outcomes and impacts. The development of effective logic models helps identify any gaps in logic or any underlying assumptions that need testing.

Focus Groups
We design and deliver facilitated workshops and focus groups to gather feedback on how effectively schemes have been designed and delivered, and the impacts that have been achieved.

Online surveys
We design and deliver online surveys to gather data from service users, beneficiaries and stakeholders. Our beneficiary surveys include questions that enable us to identify gross economic, environmental and social impacts and calculate the overall net impact.

Research
We complete secondary and primary research. We explore the context in which schemes were delivered and document any key trends that may have impacted on your ability to achieve the original targets.

Stakeholder interviews
We create interview scripts and complete one-to-one interviews with stakeholders to obtain their perspectives on how effectively schemes have been designed and delivered.

Statistical analysis
We analyse quantitative data gathered from online surveys, focus groups and interviews to investigate trends, patterns, and relationships. We present complex data in a clear and accessible manner and help our clients understand how to respond to key findings.
Our evaluation services include:
