We complete economic modelling and develop robust business cases which secure funding. We complete Green Book appraisals on behalf of Combined Authorities and Government.  We ar experts in designing and delivering process and impact evaluations.

Chris Maunder

Public Policy & Programme Evaluation Expert

Chris founded Thrive Economics in 2010 following over a decade working for organisations distributing Government funding.  He is regularly commissioned to design and conduct process and impact evaluations of complex programmes and projects. He holds a Masters in Business Administration and BSc Geography Degree, and is a PRINCE2 qualified Project Manager.

Dom Chapman

Economic Modelling and Impact Expert

Dom joined Thrive Economics in 2023 having previously led economic impact and research services for a national consultancy practice. Dom is an expert in economic modelling and impact assessment and has  advised on and appraised business cases for more than 200 planned investments nationally.  He holds a Masters in Local and Regional Economic Development and a BA (Hons) Geograpy Degree.

Socio-economic Research Expert 

Sam formally joined Thrive Economics in 2026 and supports our work with data analysis including a focus on data gathered through our bespoke surveys and interviews.  He assists in the development of business cases, completion of appraisals and the delivery of independent evaluations.
